Hugh has worked for the company since 1972, starting as a laboratory technician testing dental materials. Since then, he has held a variety of senior positions, before taking up his current role in 1996.
Apart from running the group's IT network and controlling enterprise management data, his expertise is in all aspects of quality assurance and regulatory compliance (including health and safety and environmental issues). He has successfully steered the company through the various quality management system requirements from BS5750 in 1989, ISO 9001 and CE marking to the current device standard ISO13485.
